Charmer is our Senior Herd sire. He was chosen for the strong Sanstorms genetics from his sire's side, which we feel will tie in well with our Sulten daughters. We also admire his dam for as a 7 yr old she LA'ed 91 and scored excellent in shoulder assembly, front legs, rear legs, back and rump. All of these categories we feel are extremely important. She also produced 3 full genetic sisters to Charmer, all are of excellent quality and very consistent. At the 2012 National Show his sister Windrush Farms Nutmeg placed 2nd/1st udder and her littermate Saffron placed 4th/2nd udder in the 5/6 yr old class! Charmer is a handsome young buck finishing his championship as a 2 yr old. He sports that characteristic Sanstorms topline which is complimented by his length of body, width across the loin and rump, and angular rear legs. He quite handily combines strength of bone with dairyness and the long bone pattern to go with it. He is beautiful to look at both on the move and at rest and is "eye candy" to say the least!!! We have been most pleased with Charmer's kids. Although stingy with does his first season, what was born here for the 2011 crop is outstanding. They excell in general appearance with level toplines, beautifully blended front ends, and extremely correct feet and legs. Charmer is the sire to PJ-Baileys' Charmer Aglimmer- 1st place int. kid and 2011 ADGA National Champion Junior Alpine!!!! Aglimmer's littermate sis PJ-Baileys' Charmer Aglow was 2nd place int. kid along with PJ-Baileys' Charmer Apphia, placing 12th int. kid. This trio combined to win 1st place Junior Get Of Sire at the 2011 ADGA National Show in W. Springfield, MA!!!!!! Charmer's first daughters to freshen for 2012 in our small herd are stunning! Long tall and dairy- they have wonderfully correct mammary systems to compliment those traits. We are seeing improvement in teat deliniation as well as rear udder arch along with the outstanding general appearance. Charmer semen is available from PJ-Baileys' exclusively!!!!
